Dr. Abdul Latif Nazari holds a Ph.D. in political science and is the Founder of Gharjestan University. He is also the owner of the Islahat newspaper and is recognized as one of the leading professors of Political Science and International Relations. He has authored ten books on political and international issues, some of which have been scientifically ranked first position inside and outside Afghanistan. These books are on the issues of democracy, the rights and obligations of citizenship, globalization and security in the Middle East include a software look at Afghanistan's security, Afghanistan's security policy after 9/11 attacks, multilateralism in international relations, and political Islam in Afghanistan. Dr. Nazari has also published scientific papers on regional studies, multilateral diplomacy, and international organizations in foreign specialized journals and press. He is also a political activist in addition to his scientific activities. In the 2019 presidential election, he was the deputy of Ahmad Wali Massoud, the head of the Ahmad Shah Massoud Martyr Foundation. Previously, he has also served as the Director of Rah-e-Farda TV and Vahdat Day.
