Abrar Hussain
Ambassador (r) Syed Abrar Hussain is a senior diplomat, author, and Pakistan’s former special secretary, ministry of foreign affairs. Amb. Syed Abrar Hussain has served in Afghanistan, first as the Counsel General in Kandahar during the Taliban era (1999-2001) and then as Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan in 2014, he knows diplomacy and diplomatic efforts between Pakistan and Afghanistan and between Afghanistan and the world like no-one else. He is appointed the Institute of Policy Study’s Vice Chairman (Academics).
